LANDING CHALLENGE!

Think you’re good? Here’s your chance to prove it. On May 21, Aero Safety Training will host a contest to give you a chance to demonstrate your prowess in two ways. We will be using the Redbird and each “contestant” will get:
- Three chances to: takeoff and land on the Midway, anchored in San Diego harbor. How hard can that be?
- One chance each to master crosswinds at 5, 15 and 25 knots at N07.
We’ll start with a general discussion of theory and then the trials. Limited to 8 participants. If there are more people wanting to try, we’ll do it again in a future roundtable. A few entertaining videos of other famous (or infamous) crosswind landing will be running while others are in the simulator.
