Training Aircraft

No matter where you learn to fly, your classroom will likely be the Cessna Skyhawk. It's a joy to fly - in fact, it's the most popular airplane ever made. You'll have several at your flight school for rental during, and after, your training.

On the other hand, more student pilots are buying their own airplane these days. They say learning to fly in the airplane they'll fly later - and using state-of-the-art avionics from the start - is a good investment of training time.

It works for them because they plan to fly frequently enough that owning may be more affordable than renting over the long run. Plus, they have the flexibility to set their own schedule and an airplane they can call their own.
