Sky's the limit for Aero Safety Training

It’s been six months since Aero Safety Training President Linda Scully traveled to Houston, TX, for the 2010 Make Mine a Million $ Business Competition for women entrepreneurs. She competed against 20 finalists that were selected from hundreds of applicants.

Before a packed arena, Linda delivered a 3-minute pitch describing plans to take Aero Safety Training to a million dollars in revenue by serving pilots and regular people, from kids to seniors. When the top 10 winners were chosen, Linda was one.

Since 1993 when Linda started the company with one airplane, we have been committed to providing excellence in aviation education and adventure.  In 1997, the flight school became a Cessna Pilot Center.  In 2000, we earned approval as an FAA Part 141 School.

Today, Aero Safety Training offers pilot training for primary through commercial and instructor ratings.  Additional programs include flight camps for kids, fear-of-flying and emergency “pinch-hitter” classes, and scenic sightseeing flights. We even host events where guests can experience the thrill of flying a Cessna — without leaving the ground — in our Redbird full-motion flight simulator.

Despite continuing tough economic times, the Aero Safety team still believes the sky’s the limit.  We’re going for the million-dollar goal.  We hope you will help us spread the word.  And don’t forget to stop by for a visit.
