Be 17 years old the date of your solo, don’t let this discourage you from taking lessons before your 17!

Hold a FAA Third-Class medical certificate. You do not require this certificate to take lessons, it’s only required on the date of your solo. We do suggest recieving it as soon as possible to make sure you are eligible for it.

Log 40 hours of dual instruction. Over the course of your training you will accumulate over 40 hours of instruction. Several of those hours may be completed in our simulator to reduce training costs.

Pass the FAA Private Pilot Airman Knowledge test. You may do that here since we are an approved CATS testing site! Your instructor will make sure you are prepared for this test.

Pass the Private Pilot Practical Exam. This test has two parts including an oral examination and a practical flight with a Designated Pilot Examiner.
