approved FAA Testing CenterFAA Testing Center

Aero Safety Training is an approved FAA Testing Center. There is no need to travel to another facility to take your FAA knowledge test. Your results are available to you immediately. Our approved FAA Testing Center provides the student with a comfortable and quiet environment which allows them to focus on what’s important — passing the exam.

Beginning January 13, 2020, all applicants must establish an FTN, by creating a profile in the Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA) System, PRIOR TO taking an FAA Airman Knowledge Test. This FTN will be printed on the applicant’s Airman Knowledge Test Report (AKTR).

After you have an FTN number you may register on the PSI website to take the exam. If Aero Safety Training does not appear in the list of available locations, you may call us at 973-872-6213 and we’ll open up a time block (subject to proctor availability) to accommodate your needs.

The testing matrix will give you information as to what to bring to each test. It provides acceptable methods of identification and applicant address verification. You’ll find minimum age, number of questions, allowed time, and passing score for each FAA Knowledge Test.
