Aero Safety CEO calls women to Make a Million$ Business

Aero Safety Training President Linda Scully encourages women entrepreneurs to check out the Make Mine a Million $ Business Competition.  Linda was one of the top 10 winners in the 2010 competition.

The 2011 M3 Competition is accepting applications from women entrepreneurs who want to grow their business to a million dollars. Count Me In, American Express OPEN and Sam’s Club sponsor The Make Mine a Million $ Business Award.  Small businesses with the potential to grow to a million dollar or more can win award packages of business coaching, PR, and the support of a national panel of experts and entrepreneurs. The award event will be November 7-9, 2010, in San Francisco, CA.

Described as a cross between “The Apprentice” and “American Idol,” the competition provides finalists with the opportunity to present their business in a 3-minute “elevator pitch” to a panel of business experts and a live audience.

A woman-owned business with annual revenues of at least $180,000 can apply for the Make Mine a Million $ Business Award from August 15 to October 1.

Launched in 2005 by Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence and founding partner American Express OPEN, the Make Mine a Million $ Business Competition was created to help post-start up, women-owned businesses grow to one million dollars in annual revenue.  Since its inception, the program has hosted 19 competitions in cities around the country and grown into a nationwide movement.  In the history of the program, thousands of women entrepreneurs across the nation have applied.
